The SHA is a public body, politic, and corporate, duly organized and existing pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 121B. The members of the Board are legally responsible for the overall operation of the Authority. The Board consists of five individuals, four are appointed by the Mayor and the fifth member is appointed by the Commonwealth. The day to day activities of the Authority are administered by an Executive Director and the Authority staff.

 

Board meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the office of the Authority, 27 Charter Street, unless otherwise posted.  Board meetings are held in person and via Zoom webinar.  For more schedule and remote access links, please visit the Board Meetings tab.
