The Salem Housing Authority, an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, is seeking a self-motivated, responsible individual to perform required housing inspections for federal and state housing programs. Duties include scheduling and performing inspections in Salem and surrounding areas and ensuring compliance with government standards. Must have ability to work independently, possess excellent communication and computer skills and interpret complex government regulations. Use of a tablet, phone and computer is required for electronic submissions. Experience in property inspection and building maintenance is highly desirable. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Valid driver’s license is required. This is a full- time position at an annual salary of $65,000.00 with an excellent benefits package.
